vs crashes after adding reference to anti-xss libarary

Hi,

I've seen a similar discussion, but there were no solutions there.

After adding a reference to the antixss library on visual studio 2008, on a web site (not a web application) visual studio just crashes. If I open the solution again, it'll just crash again.

It's working only on one of the web sites, and on a web application, but not on the other web sites.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

From the last time someone ran into this it was the Power Commands VS plug-in that didn't like AntiXSS. When that was disabled loading worked fine - you could try that and see if it helps.

I am facing the same problem of after adding a reference to the antixss library on visual studio 2008.

Please let me know how to remove the Power Commands or plug-in - Please give some steps... (where should I locate it on visual studio because I don't what it is).

I would really appreciate if you help me on this.

Thanks

Arif

I didn't have power commands. I've downloaded the source code, complied it myself, and added the reference to the new dll, this is the only way I could make it work.
