Issue with Power Commands - not AntiXSS

Not one I've seen before - do you get a crash dump, or anything in the event log?

this is the log -
Event Type: Error
Event Source: .NET Runtime
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1023

I'm working with visual studio 2008, but when I click on the link, it states that my file version is 4.0.31106.0 (file name mscoree.dll)

I don't get a crash dump

Now that is weird, that looks like the .NET 4.0 version of the core .NET libraries. Do you have .NET 4.0 installed?

I found why VS 2008 is crushing when refrencing to AntiXss- it's because of power commands addin for VS 2008. removed it and it's fine.
anybody knows why?

yes I have got VS 2010 express - but anyway the problem is power commands

bdorrans wrote Aug 15, 2010 at 5:10 PM

Ah phew, as long as it's not me grin If you can't get any answers from the power commands folks let me know, I'll see if I can replicate it internally and go talk to them.

Rather than reference the DLL you might want to try grabbing the source and adding it as a project - you never know, it might help.
